Real Estate services were started by Harry Ross and Millard Dove (Kirk and Ross’ grandfather and father) first began working with the U.S. Government General Services Administration, post World War II. They were awarded a dozen military bases that consisted of tens of thousands of development acreage. The successful sale of Camp Beale Military Base was the largest land sale ever conducted by auction at its time.
Ross and Kirk Dove’s real estate auction career rose to the forefront of the industry as solution providers, during the savings and loan crisis in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They were awarded the FDIC’s largest ever commercial property auctions, generating over 1 billion dollars in sales of multi-family, hospitality, retail, office, and industrial properties throughout the U.S. This spearheaded the growth of a large private sector real estate auction business. Our managing partners have successfully sold real estate for money center banks including Citibank, Bank of America, and JP Morgan Chase. We have represented major investment banks including Lehmann Brothers and Bear Stearns. The nation’s top insurers, Prudential, Metropolitan, and Travelers, all participated in auctions sponsored by the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, where the managing partners were their chief auctioneers.
Today’s Heritage Global Partners draws upon the vast experience accumulated over 7 decades and currently has the expertise to sell both residential and commercial portfolios of all sizes. We also are pleased to represent owners of individual assets as their particular needs arise.
