The scoreboard, locker, arena chairs and almost everything else left at the old home of the Orlando Magic will be auctioned off by the end of today. Hundreds of fans, collectors and even a former Magic player showed up for the event at Amway Arena.

The auction started shortly after 10 a.m., kicked off by former Magic star Nick Anderson. The first item up for bids was a framed reversed negative photo of Anderson, which he signed at the event. Joanne Levy of Kissimmee bought the photo for $450.

“I didn’t think we were going to get anything,” 61-year-old Levy said.

With thousands of items up for grabs, auctioneers estimated it would take 10 to 12 hours to sell off the items. They’re also taking bids online… Read Full Story on Orlando Sentinel
