SpectraWatt to sell equipment to Canadian Solar

WICCOPEE — If a federal Bankruptcy Court gives its OK on Thursday, the equipment assets of SpectraWatt Inc. will go to a Canada-based company.

The production line that once made solar cells for photovoltaic power was auctioned off last week to Canadian Solar Inc. for $4.945 million, reports Heritage Global Partners, the firm that conducted the auction.
