Kirk Dove, Founding Partner and Senior Advisor of HGP, brings over 35 years of experience to the role. Previously, he held various president positions at GoIndustry-DoveBid, DoveBid, DoveBrothers, Koll-Dove, and Ross-Dove Company. Mr. Dove has revolutionized the auction industry by introducing corporations to forward flow multi-event contracts, shifting compensation structures from client fee to buyer’s premium platforms, pioneering webcast auctions utilizing voice and video broadcasting worldwide on the internet, starting featured online sales, creating vertical sector sale events, and transitioning to a paperless electronic marketing notification system for all events. These innovations have changed how auction events are signed, marketed, and conducted, inspiring the marketplace itself. He has coordinated numerous auction sales with leading companies like Apple, Boeing, Computerland, Data General, Enron, Ford, GE, HP, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, NCR, Pfizer, RCA, Schlumberger, Tektronix, Wang Computers, Xerox, and Zenith, among many other big names; altogether generating over $3 billion in worldwide sales of industrial equipment. He also serves as President of Industrial Assets for Heritage Global Inc., responsible for the oversight of all three Industrial Asset business units: HGP, Heritage Global Valuations, and American Laboratory Trading, a subsidiary acquired in August 2021. Prior to his role as President, he was Executive Vice President at HGP, responsible for the management and oversight of all acquisitions and dispositions globally, and had direct oversight of all other business development and revenue-generating initiatives company-wide. Mr. Dove graduated cum laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is a licensed auctioneer in multiple states and a graduate of the Missouri Auction School. Brian Cobb, Chief Financial Officer of Heritage Global Inc. (NASDAQ: HGBL), is responsible for all financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), taxes, and treasury. Mr. Cobb joined the Heritage team in 2017 as the Director of Financial Reporting, with extended responsibilities to manage corporate and divisional accounting functions and personnel. In 2019, he was promoted to Corporate Controller, where he played key roles in bringing Heritage Global from the OTC market to Nasdaq and in the execution of the company’s public offering in 2020. In 2021, Mr. Cobb was promoted to Vice President of Finance, and in 2022, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, where he has been an integral part of the Heritage executive team. Prior to joining the company, he gained over 10 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience primarily at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Cobb graduated cum laude from the College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos.

Ms. Jannesar is a seasoned marketing leader with over 19 years of professional experience in launching effective strategic marketing plans, cultivating business opportunities, and optimizing all bottom-line factors to maximize efficiency, productivity, innovation, and overall growth. Her areas of expertise include strategic market planning; business planning and execution; brand and client relationship management; event and crisis management; public speaking; digital marketing (B2B/B2C); budgeting and cost reduction initiatives; leadership and team-building strategies; process optimization; commercial operations oversight; analytics proficiency; social media; e-commerce; SaaS knowledge; ERP understanding; and HTML/CSS coding. Ms. Jannesar has been active in the auction industry since 2010, beginning her tenure as an Auction Operations and Marketing Manager at Tiger Group. In 2019, she joined Auction Technology Group (“ATG”) as the Senior Director of Client Success, where she was a crucial part of the senior management team that facilitated ATG’s listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE: ATG). James Sklar, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Heritage Global Inc. (NASDAQ: HGBL), has more than three decades of relevant legal expertise serving leading worldwide asset advisory and auction services firms. Throughout his career, Mr. Sklar has played a key role in establishing relationships with global alliance partners, implementing international contracts, and expanding the adoption of the auction sale process in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He is responsible for all of the company’s legal matters, including negotiating global transactional business alliance documents, managing relationships and contracts with worldwide clients and business partners, and providing legal representation for all of the Heritage Global companies. Mr. Sklar received a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School.

David Barkoff, Senior Vice President at HGP, is responsible for sourcing, developing, and managing global acquisition and disposition projects. Since the company’s inception in 2009, he has successfully developed business by overseeing numerous large-scale acquisitions and dispositions of machinery, equipment, and real estate for Fortune 1000 companies, as well as those experiencing bankruptcy. Mr. Barkoff has personally negotiated deals with Amazon, Boeing, Danone, Exelon, Duke Energy, Honeywell, Hormel, Philips, Smithfield, Solyndra, TVA, and many others in the last decade. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he currently resides in the suburbs of Boston with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys being outside and rooting for his favorite team, the San Francisco Giants. Mr. Barkoff is based out of HGP’s Boston office.

Craig Thompson, Senior Vice President at HGP, is responsible for sourcing, developing, and overseeing acquisition and divestment initiatives on a global scale. He has been with HGP since 2009 and has managed over 250 auctions in the past 10 years. Mr. Thompson’s main area of expertise lies in biotech and pharmaceutical properties, with projects for Amgen, Genentech, Roche, Mallinckrodt, RJ Reynolds, and many others. Beyond biopharma assets, he has managed significant operations in sectors such as Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland, iAero Thrust, Avantair, and Russian River Brewing Co. Mr. Thompson holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on marketing from St. Mary’s College of California. He lives in San Diego with his wife Liz and their three children, CJ, Colton, and Cade. He works out of HGP’s San Diego office.

Tom Laster, Senior Vice President at HGP, is an established sales professional with more than two decades of corporate sales experience. Before joining HGP he was the Vice President of Sales for GoIndustry Dovebid, a Liquidity Services Marketplace. During his decade-long tenure at Go-Dove, Mr. Laster achieved incredible success in securing key accounts that generated well over $100 million in sales and solidified the company’s presence in multiple vertical markets. Prior to that, he held the position of Director of OEM for Netscape Communications, an Internet pioneer, where he developed and managed multiple complex OEM partner agreements across North America. Additionally, he served as a Senior Sales Representative for Baxter Scientific Products (now VWR) and Becton Dickinson, selling scientific and laboratory equipment throughout California. Mr. Laster obtained an MBA from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine. His incomparable sales aptitude makes him an invaluable asset to HGP.

Tim Shaeffer, Director of Business Development at HGP, is responsible for sourcing, developing, and overseeing acquisition and disposition initiatives on an international scale since March 2018. He has conducted numerous notable assignments in the aerospace, biopharma, transportation, and machine tool sectors across the United States for companies such as Collins Aerospace, La Jolla Pharmaceuticals, Regulus Therapeutics, Vical, Avid Bioservices, LifeCare Health Partners, Transdev, Lucas Oil, and many others. Mr. Shaeffer graduated from the University of Maryland (College Park) in 2013, where he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team. He lives in San Diego with his wife and son, and works out of HGP’s San Diego office.

Michael Boucher, Director of Business Development at HGP, is responsible for sourcing, developing, and overseeing acquisition and disposition initiatives on an international scale since March 2020. He boasts more than 10 years of experience in a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) and a molecular diagnostic start-up in San Diego. Mr. Boucher earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific in 2007. He resides in San Diego with his wife, Meghan, and works out of HGP’s San Diego office.

Alex Dove

Alex Dove, Vice President of Operations at HGP, oversees all site operations, logistics, and project management for the ~150 projects HGP takes on each year. He has been with the company since its founding in 2009 and has worked on projects for companies both big and small in various industries, including aerospace, automotive, aviation, biotech, broadcast & postproduction, chemical, electronics manufacturing, energy, food & beverage, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, plastics, printing, semiconductor, solar, textile, and woodworking. Additionally, he assists the business development team with locating new business prospects. Mr. Dove is fourth-generation in the legacy of HGP’s history in the auction business and was exposed to the industrial auctioning industry from a young age due to his family’s long history in the sector, having supported warehouse operations and live auctions during his teenage years. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Missouri Auction School, he returned to HGP to help carry on the legacy, operating out of their Bay Area office.

Grayson Dove

Grayson Dove, Senior Director of Operations at HGP, is responsible for overseeing site operations, logistics, and project management. He has a special focus on projects in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, overseeing operations for several of HGP’s frequent corporate customers, including Pfizer, Amgen, and Genentech. Mr. Dove has managed operations for nearly 200 auctions from these vendors alone. Additionally, he has overseen large-scale projects, including Five Prime Therapeutics, MBP Titan, and Amylin. Mr. Dove is fourth-generation in the legacy of HGP’s history in the auction business and continues to make a positive impact. He is based out of the organization’s Bay Area office and lives in San Francisco with his wife and kids.

Gregory Gerken, Controller at HGP, is responsible for all accounting operations and financial processes, including financial close, forecasting support, executive reporting, and audit functions. He joined HGP in 2023 and brings over 20 years of progressive finance, accounting, and managerial experience, including 18 years with Qualcomm Inc., a Global Fortune 500 company, and 3 years as a public accounting professional with Deloitte. His areas of expertise include revenue recognition (ASC 606), financial close, SOX 404, Oracle ERP, forecasting, M&A, and pricing. Mr. Gerken graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a concentration in Accounting.

Prior to joining Heritage, Mr. Brunson accrued more than three decades of progressive finance, accounting, and managerial experience in the waste industry. In these roles, he was responsible for internal auditing and served as Field Controller and Senior Director of Finance at Republic Services. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, before beginning his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Dion Butler, Marketing Manager at HGP, is responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive visibility, engagement, and buyer participation across HGP’s auction and asset valuation divisions. He collaborates closely with sales, operations, and project teams to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and optimized for performance. Mr. Butler brings over 15 years of experience in B2B SaaS and online auction platforms, including a long tenure with Auction Technology Group, where he managed 75+ auctions per month and supported clients across the Proxibid platform. His deep auction industry knowledge and experience working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams is a valuable asset to HGP as the company continues to grow. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. Butler enjoys playing rec sports, is a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan, and spends time exploring how emerging AI technologies are shaping the future.

Lachlan Jackson, Director of Auction Services at HGP, brings a wealth of experience in operations management and client relations to his role. Starting his career in warehouse management, Mr. Jackson advanced to become the Operations Manager for Slattery Auctions in Australia, where he coordinated and managed auction operations for a wide range of banking, insolvency, and corporate clients. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in streamlining processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. He worked closely with financial institutions and insolvency practitioners to oversee asset valuations, sales, and recoveries, delivering tailored solutions that aligned with client needs. A native of Australia, Mr. Jackson enjoys spending his free time playing and watching Rugby Union and hitting the slopes for skiing adventures.

Sally Costello, Director of Operations at HGP, is responsible for supporting Auction Operations, including tech assistance with Auction Flex Software, providing support to Field Services personnel, project managing activities, preparing sale catalogs (uploading photos and catalogs), releasing post-auction reports, managing online software setups (Sales Tax/Buyer Premium rates/Web Notices), updating sales databases, and monitoring the Customer Service Department. Her duties also include responding to customer inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that auction payments and removals are completed on schedule. Prior to joining HGP, she served as the Regional Manager for a prominent independent life insurance brokerage. Ms. Costello is a native of San Francisco and an ardent supporter of the SF Giants, Forty Niners, Warriors, and Cal Bears. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sue Atiya, Customer Support and Office Manager at HGP, is responsible for creating invoices for sales and completing expense reconciliations, fielding customer inquiries, resolving issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction, and reviewing and approving supply requisitions. Ms. Atiya joined HGP in 2011, bringing with her a suite of skills that have enabled all office operations and procedures to run smoothly. She holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno.

Jay Do, Staff Accountant at HGP, is responsible for preparing and finalizing auction settlements, sales tax filing, financial reconciliation, and recognizing revenues and expenses. Additionally, he is proficient in accounts receivable and full-cycle accounts payable, assisting the accounting team with cash application and data entry. Mr. Do holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University, which he obtained in 2020 while working full time at Solar Turbines.

In 2020, she began her career in accounting, first serving as a staff accountant for The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe for one year, where she provided assistance during its transition to new ownership and the adoption of new accounting software. Ms. Ferguson holds a BA in Education with a minor in Mathematics from the University of San Diego.

Doug Escudero, Senior Field Services and Project Manager at HGP, is responsible for leading pre-auction setup and post-auction removal efforts at our auction sites across the globe and has a rich history in the auction industry. His journey began with his first sale at Metropolitan Circuits in Santa Ana, CA, in March 1991 with Ross Dove Co. Mr. Escudero’s career has spanned numerous esteemed auction firms associated with the Dove family, including Koll Dove, Dove Brothers, Dovebid, Go-Dove, and now HGP. He has been integral to many high-profile auctions, such as General Dynamics, Hughes Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Loral Aerospace, McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, AeroThrust, Collins Aerospace, and many others. Mr. Escudero’s expertise extends to the biotech and pharma sectors, with significant projects for Pfizer, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Amgen, Mile High Labs, Par Pharma, and more. Beyond these sectors, he has managed auctions for Enron, Seagate, Maxtor, Intel, Harley-Davidson, Nortel Networks, Halliburton, Philips, BlackWater in Moyock, NC, and Tektronix, among others. Originally from Huntington Beach, CA, he now resides in Florida, continuing his impactful work in the auction industry.

Mr. Zoline brings a wealth of experience, boasting 30 years of expertise in manufacturing and equipment. His diverse background includes a tenure in purchasing at Ford Motor Company, as well as roles as an Engineer and Planner for Boeing. Residing in the Detroit area, he continues to leverage his extensive experience to drive successful auction outcomes.

He has been with HGP since 2022, after spending over a decade at a prominent company in the biotech equipment auction/resale industry. Mr. Vazquez brings extensive asset knowledge and expertise to HGP. He resides in Tijuana, Mexico, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children, Camilah, Matthew, and Sofia. In his free time, he enjoys watching his daughters dance and his son box.

He also assists with local auction projects. Mr. Bejarano has deep familiarity with biotech and pharma assets. He joined HGP in 2022 after spending over a decade at a prominent biotech equipment auction/resale industry.

He joined HGP in 2022, bringing over 10 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management from a prominent biotech equipment auction/resale company. Mr. Mendoza is known for being an adaptable team player, adept at implementing process improvement strategies to reduce costs, streamline processes, and enhance customer service. His attention to detail and multitasking abilities are key assets in his role. A native of Los Angeles, he currently resides in San Diego County, passionately supporting all LA sports teams except for the Angels, Ducks, and Clippers.
