High Liner Foods Industrial Equipment, Processing Plant Machinery, and Related
Capital Assets to be Sold via Global Webcast Auction by Heritage Global Partners,
Schneider Industries and BidSpotter.com on September 26
SAN DIEGO, CA and DANVERS, MA – August 27, 2013 – Heritage Global Partners (“HGP”) in
partnership with Schneider Industries Inc. and BidSpotter.com, today announced that they have been
retained by High Liner Foods, the leading North American value-added seafood supplier, to manage
the upcoming global webcast auction of its processing plant machinery, industrial equipment and
related assets of its Danvers, Massachusetts-based seafood processing facility. The sale is a result
of High Liner Foods’ decision to close two facilities as part of its North American supply chain
consolidation following the Company’s recent acquisitions that included a plant in Newport News, VA.

Items for sale include Northfield Spiral Freezers, H&C Fryers, Slicers and Cutters from Ross, Urschel
and Grote and Stein Breader Batter Machines. Also for sale are packaging equipment, kettles,
scales, conveyors, detectors, plus a wide array of plant support equipment and much more.
