Auctioneers Maynards and Heritage Global Partners have been appointed by Schott Solar to auction a fully automated thin film production line (40MWp) located in situ in Jena, Germany.

The sale features front- and backend production equipment as well as R&D, metrology and BIPV equipment.

The series of sales will start immediately with a negotiated sale phase featuring the 40MWp thin film production line followed by an online auction scheduled for May.

“This sale presents an excellent opportunity for worldwide buyers to leverage the secondary market to acquire a fully automated production line that can, together with a potential know-how transfer, quickly put them in a competitive manufacturing position in the field of thin film solar modules and BIPV,” added Heritage’s Director of Sales, David Barkoff.

Maynards are exclusive sale agents for the assets and will work with partner Heritage Global Partners to deliver these assets to end-users and contract manufacturer world-wide.
